General Information and Legalities
Wondering as to where exactly you stand when you strike a deal with us? You have clicked on the right button!! We try to be clear about the online bookings that you get in to before you book a package with us so that both you and we at My Travel Asia are safe from the legal standpoint.
Topping the list of online travel shops we operate from our offices in Ahmedabad, India, London, UK and Nairobi, Kenya. We offer cheap vacation packages to suit all budgets. When you visit our site, select a holiday package knowing the cost and other details. Then log on to mytravelasia.com or call our round-the clock helpline to book your holiday. If you have any specific health problems, please inform us in writing before you book the vacation package. We are not liable for unpleasant situations while you are on trip unless we have it in writing from you.
When you book your holiday with us, we don’t ask you to punch your credit card before 4 weeks of your journey. We shall provide you with a confirmation voucher or a reference number once the confirmation about reservations and travel is made. With this we are obliged to provide you service and you are legally bound to help us serve you better.
For your convenience we give you a detailed break up of the expenditure under the following heads:
- Accommodation as per your request
- Travel according to the itinerary
- The other services like holiday insurance, flight supplements, passenger service charges, single room supplements, costs/meals for children, personal extras and the booking fees of US $25 per adult or child.
Worried about your money in case you cancel your plan? We charge only competitive prices from all our customers. If you cancel the booking 30-45 days ahead of the trip, we charge just 20% of the travel package rate. A cancellation between 19-30 days is charged 30% while a cancellation at a point lesser than 19 days is charged 100%. The cancellation order should also be in writing and bear a signature by the person who signed the booking form. If you feel uncomfortable about these terms and are doubtful about the trip, it is best that you don’t go for online bookings with us.
You can also apply for amendments on your vacation packages after we have confirmed your booking and you have provided us with your credit card details. Any amendment request made for a lesser night stay before 7 working days is charged 1 full night against all the nights cancelled. An amendment request made after 7 days of the trip is charged 1 night charge per booking. These charges however might vary as per the hotel. Shoot us an email from the “Contact Us” section with the word “Amendment” as the subject line. Don’t forget to include the following details in your email:
- Booking reference ID number
- Email address that had been used for booking
- The first name and the Family name that was used for booking
In case the amendment doesn’t work out due to peak seasons or conference timings, you will be informed by mail well ahead of you schedule as to what amendment policy would suit you the best.
